Stantuf high tensile plate is quenched and tempered HSLA structural plate from 460 to 900 MPa minimum yield, with Charpy toughness held to 27 J at -20 C. It replaces mild steel at roughly half the section, so the weight saved comes back as payload. Used for trailer chassis, tipping bodies, crane booms, lifting beams, storage vessels and plant structures.
